    I would love to work in the Houston area. Is there anyway you could point me in the right direction? Or maybe some companies you know that are hiring? Inshore would be great but if there is some offshore stuff too, i would excited to do that too. Deckhand work would be ideal, as I have no experience on a Tug...yet!

    Im inshore. we push oil,gas barges up/down the mississippi river and from new orleans to houston tx..... we don't go offshore.... there is a ton of work on the boats in south la and tx for 100 ton's inshore and off shore....

    What Kind of tug boats do you operate? Near coastal or off shore? I worked on fishing boats in Cali and got my 100 Ton license and I have always wanted to work the deck of a tug boat and eventually get into the wheel house of one.
