    3794 turbo braking

Mark's 3794 65mm has made 980 iirc with a S483. Can't imagine needing more than that, and still be able to tow and brake without issue.

    3794 turbo braking

I hotshot with a danville 65, the turbo braking is EXCELLENT, usually all I need is 2500-3,000 rpms to get slowed down loaded. From what I understand and remember off the top of my head the 66 stg 3 has a larger turbine and the high flow vanes, your not gonna like that for what your trying to...

Worth re bearing bottom end or not?

If you was doing all that you would want to upgrade the pistons to be safe at 600, I cracked one at 575. Besides, that engine could easily last another 100K miles or more if its been maintained. I would run it then re-build when somethin happens. A buddy of mine has an lbz making 650+ with over...

    Promaxx Heads - Thoughts?

    Promaxx Heads - Thoughts?

I don't keep up nearly as well as some of you guys, but I've seen the dyno videos of the Edelbrock vs Stock heads. For a street driven truck I would stay stock, seems to me you could put that money else where and get a lot more for it. Unless there is a set of heads that I don't know about.

    New or Re-Build Steering Box

So I decided to just replace the whole steering gear with a blue top unit, I absolutely love it! I had no idea the steering could be this tight on an obs truck. I was not impressed with the customer service at all but the box seems excellent, I have around 1,500 miles on it so far.

Billet wheel options for Garrett GT4094VA stage 2 turbo

In my opinion, If your wanting more bottom end save for a better turbo. Injectors arent going to help nearly as much as you would want and spending money on a different wheel for that one is going to leave you disappointed as well in dollars spent vs performance. I would sell that one and go a...

What are you paying for Diesel in your area?

We are still holding at 3.99/gas and 4.99/diesel here in western kentucky. I'm afraid it's going to just keep going up though.

    New or Re-Build Steering Box

I need to take a closer look but from just a glance it seems to be coming out around the shaft on the bottom. My box is still good and tight though...

    New or Re-Build Steering Box

I thought you could tighten one up really easily by just tightening a set screw.

    New or Re-Build Steering Box

That PSC steering box looks tough, but I was hoping not to spend $700 lol

    New or Re-Build Steering Box

I had a brain fart, it's the steering box I've been talking about not the pump.

    New or Re-Build Steering Box

I just didn't know of there were other parts in there that would be worn out besides the seals with this many miles on it. If so I'd rather just replace the whole pump... if it's generally just the seals that go bad I'd like to try and re-build mine.

What are you paying for Diesel in your area?

Diesel is $4.49 here in Western KY. It was $3.79 I believe last weekend. No telling where its going from here, this is rediculous.

    New or Re-Build Steering Box

My steering box is leaking. It has 287,000 miles on it, should I get a re-build kit for mine and replace all the seals? Or am I better off to just get a parts store replacement with a lifetime warranty. I have searched and searched and there dosent seem to be a good solution. Some even say...
