    Crank and cam position readings

Any of you know what the crank and cam reading/count is supposed to be at idle? Looking at it on the scanner they are jumping around quite a bit.

Just wanted to leave an update that a new injection pump fixed the issue. We are back to hauling ass up the hills, and rail pressure stays solid. Edit: should add that fuel temps were getting pretty high. 140+. Temps stay right around 75° with the new pump. Obviously a sign of returning too...

    Injectors

You need the proper equipment/test stand to properly test flow and return. Even if warranty isn’t an issue, why do it twice or three times? Ask yourself why they’re that much cheaper. I’m guessing you would probably have the same luck as the guys do using Pensacola Diesel injectors or...

Very few guys that have swapped the L5P into anything, even less that have put anything behind it other than an Allison. What does your race truck consist of? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Does the vane position sensor move at all if you monitor that? If not, remove and manually move the plunger and see if anything changes while you monitor it. I’ve never heard of anybody having much luck with Chinese sensors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

2015 MY trucks built before 8/14 had the A50/T14 TCM as pictured. 2015 MY built after 8/14 had the smooth case T87. The cluster you pictured must be out of a Chevy, because the pre-8/14 GMC clusters had red accent lighting, and this shows as green. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got some good info from a buddy that wrenched at a dealership. With the injectors unplugged, and cranking for 15 seconds, there’s isn’t supposed to be any fuel coming out of the injector returns at all. So we’re good there, I couldn’t even get a drop. Max return spec for regulator #2 and...
