Twins, Drive pressure, boost and gauges

What size base is your s480? T6? Or does the sx4 specify it as T4? Did you ever run that over a stock unit? Or has it always been with the 4094? What kind of boost is that set up pushing? And your basically running the plumbing to read drive at the 4094 and total boost, correct? Where'd you...

Twins, Drive pressure, boost and gauges

With a set of twins (or triples for that matter), what is the optimum drive pressure and boost information to monitor via gauges? Primary charger drive pressure and total boost? Drive pressure and boost for both? Just drive pressure for primary and boost for each turbo? Anyone use...

    Changed Water Pump No Start

Sheared the shaft off my new (welded) water pump (gear side) on my way to Jefferson State Diesel drags in Redding a couple weeks ago. Overheated a couple times while we were testing and trying to repair, couldn't believe that the water pump had failed, so tried everything else, since it wasn't...

    What was I thinking?

All my trucks have always been lifted on 35's. I stop at 6" lift and don't level them. It's a truck the rake is there for a reason. I think it's funny when guys level them and then put 250 lbs in the back and they sag. Why even have a HD truck? Mine works everyday with me it ain't just eye...

opinions on this Ingersoll Rand air compressor

The IR's are great I have 2 in my shop the 7.5 HP/80 gallon and 10 HP/120 gallon type 30's. Mine run hard 5 days a week and not a problem in 5 years since purchase. Just maintain it and it will last your life time, if its not 40 hour+ work weeks. Get an auto-drain if you can, well worth it. A...

    Twin turbo battery options?

I made my own box out of aluminum diamond plate and a removable face plate, inside rail under cab/back seat. Box is open on top and built for 2 batts if I ever want to move both down there or go 3 batts on next change. Used the factory battery hold down inside box to keep battery secured...

    Oil cooling

Maybe I missed it but I haven't read in this thread (or the other twins related oil cooling threads) about what type of coolant you are all running? Oil viscosity has been discussed briefly but nothing about running a high quality higher heat transfer coolant? Wouldn't running a more performance...

    Which Polymer Pistol?

I bought a S&W M&P 9 and liked it so much I just went out and bought a .40 too. I didn't like the XD that much and X2 on the Glock, does anyone think that unit feels good in the hand? Whoa, that just sounded wrong... Anyway...probably about 1000 rounds thru the 9 and it just preforms...

    head gaskets and arp's

This probably the single best, at least most concise, answer to this never ending debate I've read on any forum to date.

How many forum members does it take to change a light bulb?

What about the seven who think and then post "Wow. This is interesting. Subscribing" and never say anything else. Wow. This is interesting. Subscribing.

    Pitman Arm Snapped!!!

I'm not worried about it ever failing that's for sure. But it's a bit over kill for running down dirty tree huggers, trust fund college students and crushing prius' out here in Santa Cruz.

    Pitman Arm Snapped!!!

I have about 40,000 miles on a 6" RCD lift turned down to about 3.5", with a PPE straight center link that has been bored out to 7/8" and reinforced to accept their HD pitman and Idler arms, a super steer pivot and the weld in brace and the 1 1/2" PPE billet tie-rods, and even though I feel it...
