What class and bike did you ride previously?
I rode 450 A and some pro sport stuff to get my pro card. Now I'm a little older and wiser so is like to just run 25 plus. When I had help I rode Yamaha. It was the first year for their new 450. I liked it but to get it to the point that I felt good on it took some money. When I was doing it on my own with just the help of a shop I rode kawis and always liked them alot.
quads or bikes? I raced quads till 09 and quit cold turkey.. I rode for Atv four play in pro class at AMA nationals... #215
I used to but broke my collar bone practicing and I work off ladders most of the time so that made it tough. Decided I had to pick work over racing but have between thinking about it recently. Yz250 2 stroke for me!
I used to race quads also, probably been about 10 years since I stopped. Starting to miss it lately for some reason...
Used to ride crf250F and crf450F for years, got hurt in 2010 haven't looked back since. Miss it everyday.

Yea I'm in the same boat. One of these days I'm going to get back into it just for fun

Cant go wrong with Hondas, they are always good bikes.. Im on a 13 1/2 kTm 450sxf fe now and i like it, i said i would never own a ktm but i rode a 13 350sxf and it handled so good it swayed me to sell my honda & buy a ktm. The engine on the ktm rips compared to the honda, suspension is meh, I have race tech bladders and different springs and its still no KYB .. It will do though until i can afford ohlins units..
I can honestly say I have never risen a ktm. I have heard the new ones are great bikes. As far as Honda, I've ridden them and didnt like the 450. I'm a taller guy and it just didnt fit me. Kinda like I was sitting really low. I know what you mean by the suspension, I had pr2 for a while, ten factory connection. Te factory connection A kit stuff was really nice. Then when I got on the new Yamaha 450 we went with a company called axis. They are part of Penske racing and do nascar shocks. That was hands down the best suspension I have ever had. But it would be out of te question to get that doing on my own for fun now.
