wanted some ideas for setting up my srw to duals and also who sells the setups and or parts for it. was gonna do some custom spacers and wheels but im concerned about width issues as far as the rules go? although most rules do not state a width measurement.

He custom builds them & they are sweet. I did our own & they came out awesome but if I had to do it over again I'd just give him my CC & not be bothered :D

When I went to dual wheel setup I just used OEM steel dually wheels and aluminium spacers off eBay. Lasted a couple seasons on a 2.6 truck with no signs of ware.

Yeah if my measurements r correct u need a 3 inch spacer and 17 inch wheels min. To clear the caliper.

That definitely will work. Mine only lasted about 15 hooks and I bent the spindles. Depending on tracks and conditions they can last longer. Also, depending on wheel and tire width you may need a small spacer between the wheels. Some org have a limit of 102" wide.

SRW housing with OEM brakes, running GM 16" inner steelies, 3" spacer on hub, 315 tire, then 2" spacer between with wheel of choice on outside.

Where did you get your GM 16" wheels? I know the older dodge 16" wheels hit the brake caliber even with a 3" spacer on first.
