I bought the gorearend rebuild kit. I went to stack the C4's and there is literally zero clearance. I actually cant get the first snap ring to seat where it supposed to (back futher than the 2nd snap ring)

Been looking for a thinner backing plate online and cant find one. Or thinner steels. Id rather the thicker plate be thinner instead of the steels. I guess worse case I could have it machined down

Another note. The new C1's look horrible.

Goerend measures each stack before sending out, unless you give specifics on what components are being used.... can't help other than say there's nothing wrong with a thinner steel.

Not sure what you're trying to show on the c1?

U see the splines not aligned? Hows its going to slide on the gear?

I'll measure the stack later to day.

They get stuck together like that. Its two clutches in your hand.

Did you put the c3’s in the c4 spot?

Bro... i picked them up before I left for the night and was like wtf. Now that im awake and at work, im laughing at this so hard. What an IDIOT! 😆.

The C3 clutches and C4 clutches were the same thickness. I kept them seperated. The C3 specs were good. .060
