my truck is a 19 3500 with 227,000 miles d&t @130,000ish it keeps jerking or chugging or what ever you want to call it when your pulling hills it doesn’t seem like an injector connection this time I hooked my scan tool to it I’m not a mechanic just a farmer with a degree in figuring things out and changing parts the only thing that I noticed that seemed odd is the fuel rail sensor 1 is reading 1.06v key on engine off and number 2 is reading 4v Key on engine off the pressures driving down the road differ at times by 800psi I’m not sure if that’s normal or not or i might be chasing something totally off of where my problem lies but tcc slip hasn’t shown anything more than -11rpm to 7rpm

Being a common L5P issues similar to the LLY, I would guess its injector harness connectors burning up. If you can put a scan tool on and monitor misfires that will give you a good idea.
I had a similar issue and it was a bad MAF sensor.
Saw a truck like you're describing that had a bad air filter. Under load the filter would suck into the intake tube.
The L5P does have issues with the fuel pressure sensor connector and/or the sensor itself. I have done both and one or the other.
Ok so I was driving it the other day and got mad and put it to the floor for a pretty good ways and all of the sudden it came to life and blacked the road out and was fine for about a week now it’s back to the same ol thing again put a new Maf sensor on today and no change if you put it to the floor it acts like it’s starving for fuel jerking and the whole 9yards low pressure is fine still no missfire counts but when I go in and increase the fuel pressure regulator 2 it makes it have a rougher idle than increasing with number 1 and the rail pressure fluctuates quite a bit anyone seen that number 2 regulator cause problems I know it also allows return fuel
That’s what it is it had mine waded up in the tube damn near nearly brand new Napa gold what’s the best bang for the buck on cold air for one it’s a work truck gets more gravel roads and dusty fields than most probably do
