As the title states, does anyone know an OEM quality like radiator support for the LBZ? My dealer says the GM 25815984 support is discontinued. A quick Google shows a company OER makes one but I'm not sure of the quality of the support compared to the GM original part.

Aftermarket will probably be more plastic with pinch-nuts than aluminum, or thinner metal overall.

You could probably find them all day at a boneyard now.

That's what I'm concerned about. I prefer to look for new or something from down south if it's not tweaked. Up in new England, they're most likely corroded at the bottom where the salt gets trapped.

You're looking at over $500 for an OEM or good aftermarket part. If it were me (in MI), Id start looking on FB Marketplace for an 06-07 being parted out.

I had a friend reach out to see if I can get one from down south. I'm not worried about how much it'll be, I just want it to be in the same quality or better as OEM. Some are made of steel which I'm not fond of Chinese steel that'll rot in a few years.

I verified that the GM one is long gone.
Unfortunately. Good thing is, I have a guy that's heading down to AZ on Monday to pick up a radiator support while he's collecting stuff to bring back up north. Hopefully he finds a bed and a set of crew cab doors in matching color while he's at it. Sucks to live in the rust belt, although I don't miss the heat when I lived in AZ.

Did you check LMC Truck? I know their parts are sometimes hard to determine fit, but they have expanded the metal parts years covered in the past couple of years. I think they are up to 2013 on some models now.

I've got a close friend here in WI who has one out of a southern truck, mint condition.

Let me know if I can help get you two in contact.

I have not but I do know they are made overseas, particularly in Taiwan which can be a hit and miss on quality. As for now, I prefer to stick with OEM as the quality is much better.

Thanks, if the supplier falls through, I'll get in touch with ya. I'm actually looking for 2 as it's time to start on my 06 LLY to get it back together. I'm getting annoyed looking at it sitting since 2017. I'm undecided if I want to reuse my RCD 6" suspension if it's not tweaked from the accident or go with a newer better one, as I do want to do a coil over suspension on it.

Sounds good, keep me posted!

I saw it last night with my own eyes and it's mint, plus his price is very reasonable in my opinion.
