I removed my rear-view mirror and there is some kind of sleeved attached to it. It may not be needed or have a use and this maybe the wrong place for this question. Anyway, while removing the mirror on of the ears that goes into the base snapped. So, I am trying to replace it and GM doesn't service it anymore so I can't get a part number. I could try Ebay but don't know what to call it. maybe it's not really needed but I like to keep my truck original and think it as something to do with the headliner Thanks

Search ebay for "rear view mirror cover". Know the length of the one youre replacing.
