I always thought the late 90’s quality was GM worst for interiors and interior components. I remember opening my door all the way and my door panel was still sitting in the same spot

Yes I was Tom! But actually have more experience with 70s and 80s than anything. 80s trucks weren’t terrible. Cars... eh. 70s major issues were crappy body panels. In trucks at least.
