It'll wipe the street with most fully built Duramax trucks. I do know that.
More I read the more towing with turbo ls is no good.. but I'm just towing a boat
Get a PD blower.
If the tuning and cooling is right, it should tow fine on a moderate tune. How big of a turbo and what are the hp goals?

472/475/480 etc all work well with the right exhaust housing on a 6.0. A 472/83/.90 T4 would spool great and make 700hp. Fueling and oil temps will be the most important factor to keep it alive towing. A good tune will have safety factors built in to keep it from leaning out if any part of the system fails. No goals in mind. I ready 475s work well on 6.0s and they are readily available and cheap
Sounds like a party! Lol. I have been trying to get my buddy here to throw a 488 on his 408 but he is scared of it.I don't know wtf Im doing with this turbo LS stuff so can't help
My turbo is a 88/96/1.32 and gunna see how far it will take the truck. Have no doubt it will go 9s
I can build a turbo kit for 1/3-1/4 the cost of a blower surely
Duramax should tow that boat just fine
Buy one of those take off lsa blowers floating around and build a kit on the cheap. You can't beat a PD blower down low.
The rig I have now is a 200k Yukon Denali that's mint and I picked it up for a song. I ran across a 6.0 for a steal and the same on the 80e.. this thing runs damn good as is. But waking it up another 100hp would be tits.
Hell maybenill just cam springs and tune the motor that in it and run it till the trans or engine shits out
From what I hear a black bear tune makes an LS a whole new animal
