Trained arms tonight after work pre co Ed volleyball.. damn that was actually fun.


People keep telling me I look great so I guess I'm making progress.. like random people I rarely see are like damn bud you look good.. hell of a confidence boost when your where I'm at in life.

I did squat 225x5 last week

That's awesome! Congrats! I hit 225lb back in Nov. then had surgery and was afraid to get under a bar or even pick one up till this week. Monday hit 225 for 3 and it felt good but still feel like I've lost some strength. So been squatting and deadlifting a lot this past week.

Actually pretty badass your squatting that much.. I hate that I can barely squat anymore. F you low back problems. I wish I could man up and do squats everyday.. I feel like the biggest puss in the gym when I get under a squat bar.

I got my ass kicked by 180x6 for 4 sets. 4 herniated discs in the low back...2 of which they want to fuse the 3 vertebrae around them so I don't keep reinjuring them. I know I'm by far the weakest guy here but I still leave it all in the rack if ya know what I mean. Chin up man, there are people out there that just wish they had our problems

Thanks, I was super uncomfortable doing anything with a barbell a little under a year ago. I'm happy with the progress I've made, I'm still not comfortable with my DL so I've been working on it.

Just keep working on it! You're already there just keep at it!

Got my shoes. Size 10 are definitely snug as hell, borderline uncomfortable but there is almost zero foot moevement. Going to lift once in them and decide whether or not to send them back. Thought or opinions welcome. They are sweet and I dig them like crazy, very happy with the choice

Haha sorry man. They fit tight as hell Saturday afternoon but i forgot about the fact your feet swell during the day. Used them this morning and they are perfect size. Felt awesome doing squats. No squish and feeling glued to the floor was great. Very happy with the purchase and I thank all you guys for giving me info and answering all my questions, I know I asked a ton...sorry for being a Noob in that respect.

Good work on bench and deads Albert, those are awesome numbers. I know all to well what it's like being tired from work and not feeling like the numbers where we're you wanted. Your still a big mofo.

Squats. Barx10, 95x5, 135x5, 160x8x4s. Definitely need to start doing more reps to get my endurance up.
Deads. 135x5, 160x8x2s.
3:30 worth of rowing, then 12:30 on the treadmill at max Incline just walking briskly. Going to slowly break myself into cardio. Just do my main lifts on legs and some small accessories on upper body day and start mixing in cardio.

Huge accomplishment my friend:thumb: I remember the day I pushed 315, it had been a goal since high school. It only took my 25 years, so you got me beat by far:thumb:

Sometime towards the end of last year. I noticed it. The mods probably got tired of it bumping around all over so they stuck at the top
