What compression ratio?

Of you plan big air then go with the 16 to 1. If it us competition maybe 15 to 15.5 to 1

What is considered big air? Just curious, as I would expect probably 55 psi from my s480 when I get the fuel to push it harder than I can right now. I went with 16:1 oval bowls.

I was wondering that too just for future reference. Difference in twin setup vs big single?

My turbo set up is a danville 72vgt over a s484. I am thinking the 16:1 would be better for rod bearings, I just dont want a smokey pig on start up

55 isn't bad at all. I guess I should have said high boost applications. 70's and up. It is nothing to be able to see 85 to 100 psi on a extreme street truck now a days.

Im going 15.5 in my build,was a little sceeerd about the 17.5 cr with trips and lots of fuel.Parts are just so damn expensive to do a build twice.


I'm running 15.5 Fingers Ovals in my build. I can't wait to get it fired up!


LB7 CC SB, 10mm Exergy, 30% injectors, AirDog II 200, billet Stage V Trans, River City 66/74 IHI, Turbonetics Intercooler, PPE up-pipes/manifolds, complete engine ARP studded, Flex-a-Lite fan, AlliLocker, E-Locker, TrueTrac, topped off with EFILIVE, to name a few... :)
