I like the classic body styles IMO, and the 2006 has the lbz, as does the 07 but then it has a dpf aswell. Its really up to your styling... All the year trucks do very well when turned up

is the lbz the best out of all the duramax? what does the 08-09 have? are the 08 as good or better than the lbz?

Nobody will say one generation duramax is better, there just minorly different. Well maybe those thick headed LB7 drivers will say they have te best  I personally like the 2006 or older because of the lack of emissions stuff. The lb7 had zero emissions, I dont think they even have a cat?? 2004.5 to 05 lly had egr addition to them, and 07s started putting DPF filters on them too.

Just to say that the old body 07 don't have DPF's :thumb:

120 hp IIRC... But, if I where you...I would keep it stock and run away from this site. We have a bad habit of corrupting people and spending their money :spit:

haha. i just figured i would just do exhaust, cold air intake, and a safe tune.

Do you want to know how many times I have heard that before ? :frog:

If you get an LBZ your stock intake is fine:thumb:
