I meant in the ballast tank. You could use a smaller tank that would take up less space due to the mass of the CaCl being heavier.

I wouldn't want it in the tires!!

The good thing about water is most times it is free. I didn't have to take it for 1500 mile ride. We filled it when we arrived and emptied it before we left
