Looking for options and advice for which turbo to run on the valley of a lb7 twin set up. Drop in stock turbo 64mm? Borg Warner sxe 364? 366?
Truck has to be able to tow and currently is stock block. When it’s time prepared to upgrade when the bottom end goes.

I towed for the first time today with my 369 sxe and it did great. Just a 7x16’ csrgo trailer though so nothing insanely heavy.

I have a 64mm so I am going to run a new 64mm but if you have access a 364 is my info for ease of use. Prefer the clamps so much more

If I run a s364 should I run it with a wastegate? I plan on running a s476 or s480 over it

Yes, ditching the 64 ihi means you ditch your internal wastegate. You need an external wastegate to prevent compressor surge unless you get an internal wadtgated setup somewhere.

a 364/480 setup should not need an external gate if staying below 750hp or so. Which is where your stock bottom end should be. Josh's 364.5/480 with a 1.1 t6 on the 480 spools stupid fast and make plenty of power to 800hp or so non gated. I believe it will choke past that point without being gated or changing housings.
