What would the real gain be from cut pistons if you just wantto stay in the 700 rwhp area and should you getthem coated top and sides?

well the ones that i sell have a bigger bowl in them for better spray pattern in the bowl. a the valve relief is you running a big cam. but i have them cut anyways. and if you get them yes i would have them coated its helps with heat better and coat the sides to.

coating the top will allow less heat transfer through out the piston, less expansion, and will allow more heat to stay in the combustion chamber, making for a more efficeint burn.
coating the sides will help a lot in high rpm situations, when oil film is thinest, and will help when you get more than desired piston expansion-- it's a good saftey.
