Made the mistake of not taking a picture of the old sleeve when I removed it, does the sleeve need to have the seal seated all the way down touching the balancer or is it fine flush where I have it?

Been a while since I had mine apart, but IIRC it was seated all the way down.
Where did you get the sleeve? I tried to get one but had no luck with the guys at Napa, just the seal. And the dealer wanted to sell me the whole yoke

I got it from Randy's Ring and Pinion, I replaced the seal once and not the sleeve side of it and still had a leak, looks like there was enough groove in the old one that it still had a drip. Guess i'll have to find something to drive it on a bit farther
