I'm trying to get the factory oil temp gauge working on my 2014 camaro that I've swapped to a lml e86b.
So far I found to possible solutions:
1. Ben's lml oil temp kit for the lml, BUT will it broadcast the temp data over the bus?? (His auto sync picks it up so maybe the bcm would to??)
2. I've read Ben has found the lml ecm has the ability to calculate the temp same as the e38 ecm does but gm left it off, (what gives gm?lol) Is there any way to turn this on in the e86b?
Car is up and running and far as I knows the only thing that doesn't work is the oil temp! So my OCD tells me I must fix it, haha.
