I have a 2006 lbz. Been having problems with low fuel Pressure. After looking at everything I discover the two soft lines next to the transmission have collapsed. I have been told if cut the two soft line sections out and replace them with rubber lines and use hose clamps that it fixes the problem. I don't have to much experience with fuel lines so any help at all is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!

I've never dealt with this issue but I'm pretty sure you can cut them out and put a new section in also I if you were planning on putting in a lift pump I believe that fixes the issue and line collapse shouldn't happen anymore obviously there are other benefits to doing the lift pump as well because it's not worth doing it for 20$ worth of line.

Why do I keep doing this?

Yes, you can replace the rubber lines. Use diesel-rated 1/2" hose and good quality clamps.
Adding a lift pump is a good idea for a lot of reasons, but it does not necessarily "fix" the collapsed line problem.

Moved to LBZ section, too.
