Thankfully the flange I used kept the wastegate in the gate pocket of the turbo or i would be getting two turbos.

Ordered a DTS 67.7 hoping it turns out to be decent, just couldn't really justify a 63-64 drop in as a upgrade for the cost of them. I wanted something with more than just a compressor upgrade that had a bigger turbine. Guess it's time to start looking for a another big brother for it.

Those new 67.7 IHI's are making good power and reliable. The compressor housing is actually a new high flow casting.

The Godspeed guy got bought out by Dans Diesel performance, I called Godspeed couple weeks back it was DDP and they don't appear to be doing them the same way, just another 64 but supposedly it's a brand new IHI they used so no core. It did not appear they had any other options like Godspeed, he had SXE center sections in his 63 up to a 72 and you had a choice of turbines 67 or 73, his website no longer comes up now. I imagine the midwest guys would do anything you ask probably.

Zak, how do these compare to the sxe300 series?

From what I've been told that the S300 turbine does not sit in the IHI turbine housing ideal, that the new bigger IHI turbines flow better. Pretty much everyone selling the 67.7 IHI's are all buying them as new super cores from the same place and just machining the IHI turbine housing to fit the bigger turbine wheel.

I ran a DTS Built IHI for two years until I upgraded to a s400. Loved the dts charger and the customer support David offered with it was next to none.

That's good to know i'm glad I went a different route then I was pretty much dead set on one with a SXE center section.

What turbo did you end up going with on the lb7 I’m looking at the 67 g2 as well

Did you not read the thread? :D It's a DTS 67.7, It has a 68mm inducer and is very likely the exact same turbo your looking at elsewhere.

How are you liking it? Good spool?

:banging: Fukit I give up! Read your other thread.

Well seeing no one was giving a review on the one you have and was saying a million others I thought I’d ask the dick who had one but guess he has a stick up his ass today

At your elevation and stock fuel truck i'm betting you would be happier with a little smaller turbo if this is a daily driver. The one I have is nice but I don't have enough drive time on it to really give a good review plus my setup is nowhere near what a stock truck is so my review will likely not be useful to anyone. Once I finally get a 480 or bigger atmosphere turbo on it things will be likely different.

Thank you that’s all I’m asking for

I have drove a LB7 truck with a Fleece 63 cheetah drop in and even it was no where near as responsive at this elevation as the stock turbo. The top end was ok but driveability was lacking, could have just been his setup/tuning/hard parts ect it had around 50-60% injectors on a stock Cp3 and betting it was tired.
