Does anyone have the factory GN hitch on their truck? If so is it factory installed or dealer installed?

That's what I thought if the "Gooseneck / 5th Wheel Prep Package" and "Hitch Package" was ordered.

What holds the ball in place? Only thing I see is maybe a spring loaded ball?? Gotta be more then that I would hope.

As far as I can tell thats all that holds it in. Has a tab on the top to lock it in. Held good towing my new trailer home so far. The tie hooks twist in then pin in.

The plunger in the center of the ball pushes the ball out when it's down, and lets the ball into the center when it's pulled up if that makes sense...
