I have a 2006 2500 CCSB, 310K miles, EFI Live w/ CTSII, AirDog 4G, EGR delete. The ground on my lift pump got pulled off a month ago or so and I limped my truck for the 1st time since I bought it after a hard pull. I still had all 6 gears but was limited to 2k RPM. After some research I found that there are 2 different limp modes, engine/fuel and transmission. I turned my truck off, let it sit for a minute or so, cranked it back up and it wasn't in limp anymore. After getting my lift pump fixed, the same thing happened again. I wasn't low on fuel and never had a CEL either time. Any ideas on why?
