Cordless tool batteries

Has anybody ever got cordless tool batteries rebuilt? I have about 6 or 7 that are shot, but the tools are not that old and I can't seem to justify the money when they can be rebuilt for around $50.

Curious to how they perform, last, charge.

There used to be a guy on Ebay. had a 1yr warranty.

Had a 12v dewalt battery rebuilt at a local battery shop. Only lasted a year or two. Bought dewalt for my 14.4.
