Because we manufacture parts in house, we can fulfill any request when it comes to stall, torque multiplication and efficiency. All you gotta do is ask

That's basically what I did. I know where I was and felt that I needed a little more than the 58 so we came up with something that should fit the bill.

I had a 1054 and hated it. Coupling was laggy around town and it pushed through the brakes at 2100, even with a stock charger. When I switched to the 4094 it got a little bit worse. Then the 475 went on and it was a total dog. It would barely get the turbo going and would bog it down when rolling into it unlocked. That being said, I love my 1058!

Paul, the update on the converter: mine saw 650+ degrees, and the front bearing was in pieces...not really sure why or how...other than ignorance is bliss i guess! Lol

I reversed the fins on three 57's before going 54. The 54 was worth almost .2 ET over the 57. I could stall both 54's I had to almost 2400 with a 475 over stock. It was great for the track and had no issues in front of a sled with twins. On the street it was tighter then I liked, but I bought it for racing not grocery shopping. With the twins off, it flat out sucked on the street and towing.

The 1054 is more or less made for twinned street trucks. I have one here waiting to go in a twinned lly . But before you order one, I would ask George about his custom offerings or Phil Taylor seeing as he offers a fantastic lifetime warranty

I guess this is the one we are using on mine then boss!

Anyways they are building me a trans now, and refreshing the 1056. Got my old truck up and running. My old stage IV held up to a lot of abuse, I hope this trans does as well.
