When it is really cold 10 degrees, my truck will start right up but seem to idle rough and smoke white for a minute or so?? Once it runs for a minute it clears up and seems to idle fine. Is this normal is the cold weather or do I have an issue, also I deleted the intake heater this past summer don't know if that would do it??

mine doesnt do it to bad unless its bout 10* to -20* then if its not plugged in it starts coughs an sputters for bout 30 seconds an then sounds rattly for bout 2-3 mins then acts ok but if its plugged in starts just fine an i plug it in every night now so i dont have to worry bout it going to order some glow plugs though put some fresh ones in just for kicks

It was a bit warmer this morning about 25 degrees, started fine no rattling or running rough but it did smoke white for about a minute.......is that beause I have no intake heater?

no, the intake heater has never made a difference in my truck in the same degree of weather your talking about. You may want to make sure all your glow plugs check out if your worried about the smoke
