IMHO the Carrillos are stronger than the Howards rods.

I have two sets of Carrillos in the field with the FPO option. Both in competition only applications. I like the concept, however there is an argument that it weakens the rods.

What does it take to get the FPO option?

Can you do that in house or do you have to order them from Carillo that way?

Also, do you have to run special bearings or piston pins to take advantage of it?

A hole needs to be drilled in the rod bearing. Or I can supply bearings that are already drilled.

Carrillos are a special order with the FPO option. Allow about 12 weeks.
