I’ve always admired the Kodiak/topkicks. I’ve been looking for a medium duty for years now and just never pulled the trigger for one reason or another. This one popped up a couple weeks ago and it called my name. It’s an ‘05, local truck owned by Ahern Rentals (now United Rentals). It’s a pretty clean truck with 134,000 miles. Going to set the box on my Dads property up north and put a flat bed on it. I already put a tune in it, Pats 20/20 tune. I’ll get it registered next week. Let’s see what can of worms this opens up lol.

Sweet!!! There used to be a guy that ran one at the local 1/8 mile track here. It had a dually truck bed on it. I think he was on one of the other duramax boards. It had a large PPE sticker across the back window.

Do you recall if his was also an LLY? I remember he hurt the trans on one of the outings. I think he snapped a shaft.
Did you look at the original tune vs a stock 2500hd tune? You might get more power from just scripting a stock lly tune into that original tune vs the 20/20 you did. I know the lbz top kicks only get like 60% of what the 2500’s get and it’s all done via limiters that’s easy enough to adjust
