LB7: ac question

I have an '01 with a leaking compressor. I also need to replace hose assembly. Can a newer compressor/ hose combo fit in its place?

Think the comp will bolt in but I don't think the way the lines run it would work right. Do you need a new comp for the ac. I'm still in Md I can get a price and ship a fourseasons one to you.

Yes you can if you use the compressor and matching hose assembly off of the same generation of vehicle.
