Default danville 67mm stg2 or 72mm stg2

Hi guys, im having an issue and cant make up my mind on what size turbo to run.
So run down of what the lmm is currently getting built with.
Durastar crank
Carrilo rods
Mahle race cast pistons
All h series bearings
Arp main studs
Just standard arp head studs ( i belive these will be fine for the max effort 800hp)
100% sticks
12mm cp3.
Lift pump
And built trans.

So my goal is to make 750-800 hp on a max effort tune but reliable. And daily say at 600 hp.

It will be used for daily driving,towing,4wding and racing. So what turbo out of the 2 would be the perfect match.

Also been thinking in the future about twins if i was to go the 67mm would that be fine in a twin set up

Just contact Mark. He will consider all your needs and tell you what's gonna be best for you.

The 72 can be used in a twin setup too. I believe there is a few guys on here running them.

Yeah I will do, just I ddint want to annoy him to much as I asked a while ago before I planned on building the engine. But after doing some reading on here the 67mm might be perfect. And if I ever want more I could twin it

Danville makes a few different 68 VGT's, I think one of the 68's would be your best choice and meet your HP goal's. Also have Mark tune it!

Last I knew, Mark wonít sell the 72 stg2r unless you plan to put a big turbo over it. It doesnít shine or improve that much over the 68 until itís twinned

My personal recommendation is the 68/71Stg2R and if you need more then bolt an S488 over it and hold on!

While we are hear talking about the turbo. You guys might be able to help answer this for me. So the arp headstuds I'm going to use are just the standard ones. That should be plenty for the 68mm by it self hey ? If I was to twin the 68, would I need to go the custom series of headstuds I'm just concerned as I cant tins **** all info as to what the standard and the custom series can hold.
This engine will be running at 16.5cr as well any info is much appreciated

They make 3 grades , in my opinion you would be wise to at least run the second grade , some might say to run the strongest , it you can swing it !
