Default 3.42 IFS Gears

I am looking for a set of 3.42 gears for the front of my 2005. I've decided to run 3.42 and 3rd gear sled pulling to keep the thing streetable as well as being able to run a 1/4mi without running out of RPM at the strip.

Bdsanky , off subject a bit but a couple of us were wondering about in the real world use of your street 14 mm pump dose it shut off at around 3500 to 3800 , thanks !

Well I may not be the best test subject. My Airdog 2 165 would drop pressure anytime I would lay into. Started at 10-12psi at idle then would drop to 1-2psi at WOT according to my crappy $3 gauge. With my old lift pump configuration it would cap out around 3200rpm before it would drop rail pressure. Iím only running 1550us on modded 250s right now.

That said, I know thereís more in it. Exergy claims with my injector flow sheet it should hold 1800-2000us before major drops occur. I will be making my own fuelab low pressure setup and run it on a boost referenced reg which should help volume. I also am going to put a stock LBZ pump on the belt feeding the passenger side rail.

Thanks man! Fuelab parts will be here this week. I need to find a filter base I am comfortable with in terms of knowing the flow rate (need something around 300gph at -10 lines) as well as the ports on top to allow me to use nice radiused AN fittings vs what ever is in the casting/machined filter head to help improve flow. I donít want to cut any corners on my low pressure fuel system. For example, fuelab said I could have ran a cheaper reg but no other reg (other than what I ordered) had anywhere near close to the return flow to handle the pump at idle.
