Default Lb7 install

Hey guys I'm going to have Mike build my trans how hard is it to install and trans relurn in the lb7 or do I need to. I have a s366 turbo ridge runner tunes ad 150 4 inch exhaust and rpi intake. Sitting on 35s future plans of a 10mm cp3 and 65 overs what do you guys recommend installing in it to hold up

Question one how hard is it to install do a trans relearn on a lb7 and what do I need to add to it with my mods....

You don't install a relearn. Relearn is done with a professional scan tool after rebuild only.

That's subjective. It's very heavy but no different than any other auto trans. Don't do this alone.

Mike correct me if I’m wrong, but an Edge can only do a soft relearn. Tech 2 is the official GM diagnostic tool used in shops.

Correct. The Tech 2 will clear the adaptive learn memory and place the TCM in fast learn which will converge the shifts. The Edge will diverge the shifts.
