I’d like to watch that live feed from the start, I came in about half way through it. Think they’ll post up the video after the press conference is over?

Alright that was actually pretty emotional... You could tell the Cole's were really torn up over this.

That was tough to watch, met him and his wife a couple times during events, very humble folks.

Watched the video, very sad to hear even though I have never been a part of NHRDA. He had some very good points for the industry as a whole at the end of his video.

Default Nhrda

I had a blast racing with NHRDA. I now have many new friends that I wouldn't have had without racing. I seen the writing on the wall years ago. I seen the same thing in the 90's with The Fastest Streetcar racing. Now its starting to happen with the No Prep Racing. Big money and tough competition drives away the normal guy. When its not fun anymore people start to leave. Everyone needs to remember it should be fun and enjoy yourself.

The thing I liked most about the nhrda series races was that they were a true 1/4 mile. This 1/8th stuff just doesnít do it for me.

That was a safety thing. A 6,000 lb truck going 150+ mph isn't safe for anyone.

Weight and speed are never good.

1/8th mile is safer on multiple levels.
