Default Some blue smoke and potent diesel exhaust smell

My LLY has 225k on stock injectors. It runs good, idles smooth and doesnít have any knocking sounds. However it does smell very strong of diesel exhaust, almost as if itís completely straight pipped (itís bone stock). Once every now and then itíll blow a bit of blue smoke upon acceleration but does not blow any smoke at idle. During the summer months it usually blows a decent amount of black smoke if I get on it. Any ideas? Assuming itís something injector related, would a cleaning help? Itís bone stock, just wondering what my options would be to check and see if any injectors or bad or failing.

Probably should check balance rates.

Is it tuned or stock?

Cleaning wouldn't hurt anything but may help. Give it a try
