    L5P L5P Tuning

From my understanding the ecm code is NOT encrypted. The function of the SHA is to make sure there are no non gm approved code changes made, but as far as actual “tuning” code related to engine operation is not encrypted. The “private” key that the hash algorithm checks against is encrypted...

Hazing @ idle with 30% over injectors

My LBZ hazed pretty bad with 60s. Bumped rail pressure up about 1500psi at idle & it’s squeaky clean now.

Help: What are you guys Running? Powerservice, Howes, Stanadyne

I’ve gelled on howes, white bottle power service, and regelled about 3 hours after dumping a bottle of 911 in. Only guaranteed way is straight #1 in my opinion.

    Crank, no start LBZ swap

There should be a pid for main injection duration in us. See if that is not at zero.

    2018 Denali L5P

Hate my 17. 3500 miles on it been to gm 5 times for various issues. If it wasn't for the issues though it would be a great truck, power is good & mileage has been really good so far. I would take my 15 back in a heartbeat though.

    L5p P20EE

I had the P20EE code twice in the first 1200 miles, then a pretty healthy coolant leak from the hose between the egr cooler & turbo. All within the first 1500 miles. I told my dealer I was done with this POS & wanted a 15 or 16 & they told me to go pound sand. Needless to say this is the last...

    L5p P20EE

I had that code a couple of time with my L5P. GM flashed in an updated calibration & it has been good since.

    New l5p owner

That's true but there is a lot of $$$ in tuning/deleting these trucks. If this is the point where it is cheaper to develop an ecm that can communicate with the bcm/tcm/gpcm than it is to unlock the stock ecm to tune it, someone will build a compatible ecm & sell it. Almost every aftermarket...

    $4000 machine shop bill!!

Ya, but you assembled yours yourself. OP had his assembled by the machine shop it looks like. That is a fair price for disassembly, machine work, & reassembly. I wouldn't complain about that at all.

    Lbz LS interior UPDATE

I took my LT1 cloth bench/power drivers seat/ to LT3 with full power both seats/heated seat/ full console. It was a plug & play swap if you get that harness that runs across the floor & plugs into the doors & seats.

LLY: Why use a RACE FUEL VALVE

I've seen a couple LLYs with bad stock fprvs. I've also had bad race plugs too. If your not having rail pressure problems, probably not worth it unless you are planning a cp3 upgrade.

Great guy to deal with! Had some issues with shipping on a kit a couple months ago and Evan took care of it no questions asked!

Don't forget the air filter too. Have you tried a 100% stock tune?

    Better Quality Ride for Stock/Lowered

I have a 1" block back in so its only lowered ~2"and the ride is 1000x worse than stock. If I still had all my leafs I would put them all back in.

    Better Quality Ride for Stock/Lowered

I pulled the overload & 2 other leafs on my LBZ and it rides terrible. I think the airbags need to be the "super duty" style airbag that bolt to the side of the frame. All the airbags for these truck sit under the frame and are smashed down when the truck is lowered. This doesn't leave much...
