    So an update on the truck. Got the pcm back it checked out ok. Gave up took it to the dealer and they said it has a hole in the piston. Still don’t know why it keep giving the crank sensor code and nothing else but probably gonna scrape the truck. Thank you for the input and help.

    Ok so I got the new cam and crank sensors put in. Double checked to make sure they were in their respective places. Still a crank no start. Ohm tested wiring back to Ecm from crank sensor plug again. Checked rlutor wheel again looked good and checked the teeth. Ecm and ficm have been rebuilt...

    I ordered the cam and crank sensor today, suppose to be here in the morning at the dealer. I’ll put them on and see what happens.

    Well I got the ficm back they said it had some capacitors that were bad. Got the vats issue fixed. Installed the ficm and still won’t start but I am showing 12v on the crank sensors blue/white wire now. It isn’t showing any rpm’s with the scan tool.

    Yeah I feel stupid I looked right passed that, I got tunnel vision on the crank sensor. I’m gonna put the ficm back here in just a minute do the relearn and see what happens. Thank you for the posts

    Edu fuse was good and swapped relay. So I guess back to rechecking wires and connections or I may still send ficm off to get checked since Ecm was bad. Just to confirm tho on my crank sensor when I tap into the wires with my paneer prob I get 11.8v on blue/white 12v on green and ground on...

    Ok I started with my Ecm and they said it was none repairable and sent back the old one. Truck wouldn’t crank at all till I got a refurbished ecm and it will crank now but having almost the exact same issues 03duramax86 was having with his truck

    I know this is an old issue but I’m have the exact same issues and have done very similar troubleshooting. How did you determine the ficm was bad?
