Long Cranking Time after EGR Replacement
Sounds like weak battery. Just takes one of the batteries to be weak to cause the symptoms you are having. Have the batteries tested. Free at Auto Zone or most auto parts stores. -
LB7: 2002 Duramax Water in Fuel Light !!!
At least you don't have to drop fuel tank. The wire ends up at the big wiring connector on the driver side. It's a yellow wire with black stripe in the engine harness. May be easier to find if unplugged. Grounding the wire turns the light on. It sounds like you have the wire touching ground...- 04Max

why not just unplug the water sensor. Give it a test drive. If the WIF light still comes on, you have a wiring problem. If not, it is a bad sensor.- 04Max

fuel filter
The tp3012 is the new improved filter. It has a updated internal design. I thank it is a little more expensive than the old 1298b filter. I do not know the exact difference but it suppose to be a better filter.
