    3500 SRW with the Duramax have the 12”. And now the 2500 with max tow have it as well.

    2024 2500 with max tow package or 3500. What is the difference?

    It literally is just a matter of what the sticker says on the door jam. For some uses and in some states the tax can be higher for higher GVWR, so the 2500 with the Max tow package gives you the ability to tow the same as the 3500, just with the 2500 badge on the side and a lower number listed...

    What will help my fog lights

    Fog lights, as mentioned, are not supposed to be bright. When you are driving in heavy fog, turn headlights off and turn fog lights on and you can see the road much better. Don’t be one of those dill-holes that puts stupid bright bulbs in their fog housing and then blinds every car that approaches.

    I think it’s interesting that when the LTG came out in 2013 it was 272 hp, now in the CT4 it’s 237/258. Yeah it’s now an LSY, but it replaces the LTG. Just never understood why they dialed back the power so much.

    It seems hard to know when the pistons changed because IIRC, the part number stayed the same. I drive my LTG pretty hard and track it, but I take care of it and it hasn’t given me any trouble, and it’s an earlier engine.

    I get about 20,000 miles out of a set. They are good highway tires. They will leave you stuck on just about anything besides concrete or asphalt though lol.

    ATS with the Performance package. It’s nothing special to most people, but it was my dream car when it came out, never thought I’d own one. Bought it just before Covid and it was a SMOKIN deal then, now when I think of what I paid it’s absurd. But yeah, with the 6-speed it’s an absolute blast...

    I think those motors are great, even though they do suffer from piston issues. I like them a lot more when they are run through a 6-speed manual and driving the rear wheels 😂. I fortunately have not had any issues with my LTG so far, and I track it and drive it pretty hard. What is your plan...

    I don’t know, but this has been the worst refresh rollout that I can remember for the HDs. I’d give it some time, it doesn’t sound like there will be any hardware changes, so hopefully they can get the software figured out.

    The reason hotshotters remove the bed is for length. Standard hotshot trailer length is 40 feet. With these new CCLB trucks being longer than ever, it puts them over 65 feet total length. Remove the bed and the pickup truck becomes a tractor and they can then be over 65 feet long.
