    Not to mention the Turbo seems to be way more responsive when they moved away from hydraulic actuated vanes to electric. I’m sure the increase in flow from the heads is the main reason but would think this certainly helps in response.

    Since the dealer can not reflash it, and no other tuning tool can be used with the swapped ecm. It makes me wonder if it is somehow a completely different logic-board if opened up. Essentially a standalone unit, that uses the same factory harness plugs/logicboard enclosure etc. Maybe somehow...

    I already have a spare E35A and TCM for the lbz I’d imagine the price would be roughly similar for the L5P. Have a few buddies that work at the local dealership that would be able to flash it.

    Well it’s fresh but it has its first oil change and 1400 miles on it now, and wow 3 years is a long time! I figure a month would be fine wouldn’t dealerships have vehicles sitting longer? I just want to take adequate precautions considering I put all this money into an engine build only for it...

    I’m not exactly thrilled it’s been this long, best way to spray oil in the cylinders I guess maybe wd-40 and pull the glow plugs? It’s been sitting like this for a month now and trans will be back next week. It’s a freshly built Motor and it sucks it’s having to sit outside but I have nowhere...

    Ill be curious how much they can get out of that turbo, sucks GM started using such small turbos on the trucks since the lml. If only it was something like the 6.7l ford turbo on the 15-present trucks.

    Sounds like a voltage/communication issue with the module & MAF. Turbo shouldn't be choking itself at all.

    Pretty sure the 6.7 Cummins is Siamesed in between cylinders and that’s why they have the head gasket problems from hot spots in the block. I guess you could see excess cylinder wear from slight warpage due to hotpotting? Doesn’t seem to be an issue with the Cummins guys though. Correct me if...
