Things people do while driving that annoy you

:mad:People who sit at a red light waiting to turn right when there is NO traffic. Drives me up the wall!!!!! If it were not for my girlfriend I would have pushed many cars into an intersection. We live on the border so I am assuming that this is frowned upon in Mexico. I dunno!! I'm...

    Rear Axle leaking!!!

Yes! Where the tube joins the diff housing. I looked through several threads but I never came across this topic. Anyway. Looks like I'll be planning a visit to the dealership to get this taken care of under warranty. Sitting at just over 80k. I was mostly curious if anyone has had this...

    Rear Axle leaking!!!

Sorry for the confusion there but I meant to say axle shaft housing. I edited the post and it reads correctly now. Basically, if you're looking at the truck from the rear, the leak is to the left of the cover in the seam where the two housing pieces join.

    Rear Axle leaking!!!

I noticed the other day that I had an oil leak on the rear axle of my truck. It struck me as strange  because the leak was not coming from the diff cover. It was leaking where the axle shaft housing meets or inserts into the differential housing. I haven't really seen this or heard...

Easiest way to repair broken lug studs???

Got it done!!! Most of my time (about hour and half) was spent tracking down the bearing nut socket. It's a specialty tool and the last place I looked had it. AutoZone of all places:rolleyes: I have pics if anyone is interested. Thanks for all the help.

Easiest way to repair broken lug studs???

That's what I was thinking but the F'n E-brake assembly is in the way. There is no slot in the E-brake assembly to knock out the studs. It looks like you have to completely remove the wheel mounting flange. I've got the axle out, the retaining clip out, and the axle nut removed but I...

Easiest way to repair broken lug studs???

I managed to shear 3 lug studs on the right rear. I've got the caliper off and I'm kind of lost from there. Do I have to remove the axle, the spindle or what? I don't have my manual and it's the first time i've sheard the studs off. Thanks for the help in advance.
