LB7 No Forward only Reverse
While driving last Saturday noticed trans temp creeping and seemed like convertor not locking up completely. Weather was wet and lower 50's Never got over 212* on digital gauge. Customer brings in an 01 with EFI live and DSP5. Has the p0106 code in ECM the code will clear but comes back on second key cycle. LB7: AC inop. Clutch engages, pressure stays the same
The compressor shaft is prolly broken in two. So all the crap that has been coming apart inside the unit until it locked up and broke the has been cycled through the system. Hopefully the orifice caught the majority of it. Of course all of our thoughts are speculative without actually seeing...- BIGTERRY75

Tried the dark side.....
My BIL seen this unfold. Deleted it. Turbo'd it, Torque convertor, Dual cp4, then We assume it lost a rod and he traded it in on a 2014. I didnt think the dealer would take it in with all the aftermarket crap on it. Says he's gonna leave it alone this time.- BIGTERRY75
