    There's nothing better than building your first trans and can be done.I did my first one on a budget with a rgpz drop in kit,pump mod's with converter,That trans held for years with triples I abused the hell out of it.Get your self an atsg manual and study tf out of it before you dig in also...

    Check wiring harness under drivers wheel well coming out of ecm for rub through.

    Mine ran,fired right up as well but white smoke/ raw fuel and and ran like shit as well once i started driving.We're you into valve train at all?

    If batteries were hooked up when bail connectors were separated to do injector job that's most likely where your codes came from.Truck's still running rough blowing smoke is prob a hard part failure but clear coded and re check.Ballance rates?
