    Sorry I had active and passive regens confused. Either way, they do a scheduled regen every so many miles whether the DPF is full or not.

    It will do a passive regen at so many miles whether it needs it or not. Mine was doing it at around every 300 miles for a while and is now up to around every 400. I have 7500 miles on mine so far. Don’t remember how often it was doing it when I first got it.

    I have them on my 06 and have not had any issues with them. I also have the Smartair system that automatically levels the truck when you put a load in it and I absolutely love that part of it.
