    I routed the tape measure around the pulleys. Motor was on engine stand so that made it easier.

    I have Dtech remanufactured pumps on both of my trucks. No problem what so ever knock on wood. 2 on the pulling truck and 1 on the dd.

    I have actually had one that blow a freeze plug completely out before. Dirt/foreign material is what I have been told can cause it

    after pulling y-bridge out I always have to take the two front studs out of the clamshells where the y-bridges bolts to so I can get the cp3 pump out.

    yea it is strictly a puller. I have thought about taking heater core and blower out for a while since all the ac components have been gone for a few years.

    Gonna put a switch panel in where the hvac control were. Looking for ideas on what kind off panel I need. Gonna have hyd/electric pump for steering, electric fan, bilge pump for w2a ice water box.

    what size breaker, relay, fuse are yall running on this pumps? Pump does have its own relay. Making a switch panel for this and a few other things. Just don't feel all fuzzy about wiring wire straight to s switch without some kind of fuse or relay.

    Look at the fuses very carefully. It might look like its good but all it takes is a hairline break in the contact to make it not work. I would just replace the fuse with a new one just to be sure.

    LLY: MAf delete

    If your tuner is the same one I talked to this morning (Mark at Danville) He told me it can be done but it is a lot easier to tune a truck with maf. He said best thing to do is leave it plugged up and tie it up somewhere and rescale it so it reads it WOT voltage wise.
