August '24 Chat -- Its too damn hot!!

It's not as bad as you might think lol I have 50% on both my trucks and all it really does at night is cut down glare. The side tint really has an effect on how dark the windshield looks though. This was a bit cloudy on that day. My other truck which definitely is darker. I don't know why but...

Basically you legally can’t. And we can’t talk about how to do it illegally.

Would need to make a new plug but interesting idea I'll have to look for some of those at the store on my way home.

I just don't own anything smaller than 12 gauge lol I've had that shotgun since I was 12 or 13. I would switch but nah

@2004LB7 What do you mean by mini shells? Like some tiny shell in a 12 gauge or something like a .410? Don't think I've heard of those before. 20 gauge is great. I enjoy shooting it and it should be easy enough for her to pick up.

Spent the weekend doing brakes. Finally no more warped rotor. Shit that thing was cooked pretty good. Ready for dove season this weekend. My girlfriend wants to go this year so I am looking at buying another shotgun she can shoot. Academy has a Mossberg Maverick youth model for under $250...

Hmmm, I haven't noticed any issues with the PF63 I installed a couple of weeks ago. This is on a 2011 Cadillac SRX.

@2004LB7 I will agree with this however my Mini H1 retrofit I don't seem to have that issue. There is a great cutoff but when I am just cruising down the highway I don't seem to notice it and the throw is great.

No, interesting idea didn't know there was such a thing. Don't think that is gonna fly with the game warden though for a bird hunt.

That sucks. I have never had to deal with Osha for basically anything. My job just requires a safety toe. I’m wearing Ariat steel toes that I’ve been wearing for the past 5 years or so. I’ve put some MILES on those boots lol

Ever considered wearing jungle boots? I've thought about it when I was doing framing (would have saved me from getting nails in my feet) but never did it.

I am shooting 12ga because I dove hunt and I want to practice what I shoot. I have been through two shoulder surgeries though and don't get all bruised up or tired from shooting lol shotguns are the best.

Since it didn't effect every computer my guess is that their pilot program had no issues and then game day obviously screwed them lol

July '24 Chat -- Things that go "Boom" in the Night, and other random thoughts

@2004LB7 Our expense system went down for maybe half a day? That was it. @1FastBrick It was a really easy fix but you would have to do it for every single computer in person. If you had 100 computers and one man servicing them you are in for a rough day.

    Weird find

Even 10 orders of something a day instantly moves you out of a bespoke business. It is pretty circumstantial though so don't get me wrong. If I was doing something like the OP is looking for I would just print 10 at a time and keep inventory. No sense in doing it otherwise imo These 3D printed...

    Weird find

TPU would be the 3D printing material you want to use for a "Rubbery" substance. 3D printing can be pretty lucrative but expect to invest quite a bit of time into learning CAD. There is a way to combine different materials while printing but it is sorta difficult. Yes GMT-800 printed parts...
