    Bruce Crower (dad) is in his 70's, been doing speed equipment for about 50yrs. Younger brother Dave is over 70 and has been working with the company since the 60's. The "son" is no kid and he's been around this stuff all his life.

    Nasty Girl went through 4(5?) engines before it got to Curtis. The engine he built lasted 2-1/2, 3yrs, went 10.3 and the owner ran the piss out of it. The truck was then sold but customs wouldn't let it across. To look presentable for customs the new owner changed it back to stock turbo...

    My LLY was getting about 18 highway, stock with Edge/Attitude on #3. After Mike L did the trans and a 6sp conversion, highway went to about 19-19.5......this was down around sea level. Then stock and MPI twins (stock turbo) with Rob's EFI tunes, first fillup coming back from Boise was 22mpg...

    Hell yes, nothing to it. Anybody with a mill can do a set of rods. Diesel or gas doesn't matter. Have at it.

    A FICM gets very hot sitting on the valve cover. Fuel has to be hotter after going through that thing. Seems like moving it to cooler place would be an improvement, then keeping fuel out of it. Also maybe wrap the fuel line with heat repelling insulation.

    Don't drive it with coolant contaminated oil. I saw it ruin a very nice completely built engine.

    Unless something's wrong the 366 as a single won't be near as nice as twinned. I had the same thing....internally gated HTT366 with a 480 and that combination drove beautifully. Don't remember boost or exact times but it was in the 11's.

    A shell is good sleeper camoflage. A stack isn't for sleepers, forget that, and running it through the shell makes no sense. Not only look dumb, I don't know how you'd keep it from leaking in the rain. Plus the top of your shell will get covered with soot and the paint could easily sizzle...
