    Logged boost vs mechanical boost.

Ok, I have a log. My computer is a pain in the ass so I have some pics instead of zip files. The boost numbers on the cts3 which read in psig, are the same as what my efilive log reads after the math (psia). All these numbers all point to everything works correctly…cts3 and MAP sensor. I...

    Logged boost vs mechanical boost.

I don’t have an obd2 splitter to do that, but could check certain areas I know what the cts3 reads. I know for a fact at max boost, the cts3 was reading what the tune was calling for. I was operating on boost map b and my max boost is 37psi. Boost was 24 on the cts3 and baro was at 13. And the...

Both readings are gauge. Cts3 does the ecm math off of the MAP I’m assuming.

    Logged boost vs mechanical boost.

I recently was able to hook up my mechanical boost gauge. It reads 50% higher boost than what my cts3 gauge reads thru the whole range. Cts3 gauge reads what the tune is commanding. Mechanical gauge was checked for accuracy. I’m at a loss of what could be wrong. MAP sensor? Seems it would follow...

That banjo that Ken used comes -6 and -8. Since the fuel line is 1/2” all the way from the lift pump, I’ll keep it that the whole way. Hell, I was even able to sneak a 5/8” hose back there and squeeze it down on the 1/2” fitting haha. It started leaking though so thought I’d change it. I had a...

Kodiak is an lly. I’ve got nothing in the way back there to come straight up. Van thermostat housing, soft return lines from replacing the y bridge.

Bringing this back…Ken, did you use these on the latest boat project? I’m sure they flow enough but wanted to make sure. I am direct feeding the cp3 on the Kodiak and am tired of making custom hoses or multiple adapters to make a 90* fitting that end up not fitting anyways. I already have...

He’s semi nitwitty with ridiculous wheel/tire combos and 9 blade turbos haha, but he’s been taking complete rust buckets and bringing them back to life. He is kind of a tool but if you look past it at the actual content, it’s not bad.

He used to film a lot of videos at that place. Then it just kind of stopped lol. I don’t know if he burns a lot of bridges, or people just really don’t like him or maybe it’s just the nature of the beast when it comes to YouTube creators? It seems like he rides their nuts for a minute, and then...
