    Like MikeL said double check your numbers on price. I Bought a PPE stage V upgrade ($2400) and still bought C5s ($300) and a seals kit. I know you don't need C5s but at 280k miles and what I was spending I wasn't about to do it half way. Found a local shop that I liked and after labor it...

    A 6 speed conversion is cheaper than a rebuild. $1600-2300 depending on who you buy from. This will not replace any clutches or steels. You can go with an upgrade kit which will have clutches and steels with other assorted parts but still not a full rebuild. Does not get you the 6 speed...

    Just for your benefit give a look. I know you have already looked. http://content.efilive.com/documents/EFILive%20Error%20Codes.pdf It might be worth just uninstall and reinstall V8 (you have probably done this too). Otherwise I would have to agree with others and say it is hardware.

    Well tried it on my server and worked fine with V8 didn't try v 7.5 as I had to install V8 just to try it. I tried it in a usb 2 and then a usb 3 and they both worked for me. I checked my driver version it was 2.12.26.0 2/24/2017. Looked at the driver details and had 5 .dll files under it...

    Have you tried a different usb plug? I have used mine on my win7 laptop and my win7 desktop but I make sure to use the usb 2 plugs because sometimes usb 3 can be touchy with older stuff. I will get time today and hook my v2 up to my server wich runs win8.

    Yes I have had my EGTs over 1700 in the 1/4 and more. When I said 1300-1350 that is for towing not short 10-30 sec burst. The melting point of aluminum is 1220. Would you run your EGTs towing at 1400 for and hour? Yes I understand cooler air is being forced into the cylinder all the time...
