Inflation .... whats your thoughts on todays Markets?

I will go back to the OP and ask a few questions. Are you spending beyond your means as of right now? Meaning are you still making all your payments for living expenses and still have money that you put towards savings. Who are these economists and realtors that you speak of? By this I...

House HVAC issue while on generator power.

I think Ferm is talking about THD (Total Harmonic Distortion) lower is better. While it might be a sine wave generator it is not true sine wave. From Champion Site: https://www.championpowerequipment.com/product/100110-9200-watt-generator/ Look under answered questions, first question.

What did you do to your home/shop today?

I get it. What works in 1 house can't work for all. Which is why I have looked into mini splits to replace my current unit. Good to know on the drawbacks part. One thing I could never understand is natural flow will only allow so much of a difference between rooms that are close together...

What did you do to your home/shop today?

Not to get to personal but how many units do you plan on running? Lasts I checked 1 outside unit could be split multiple ways.

    Holy harmonic balancer Batman!

Just for future reference heating the bolt will not shrink it that will expand the bolt. You would have to heat the crank to make it expand away from the bolt but that is not possible with the balancer on. Tractor supply has a 1/2"+3/4" spud ratchet for $17, I have had had a 6' cheater on it...

    Fuel rail lines bursting

While you are more than likely right, everybody has failures. It is how they handle it after the failure that makes all the difference. A recent post on this site had a failure form a site vendor, I will not name names look if you want to find it. I will still buy from that vendor without...

    Body mount nut spun off

Cut the bolt off flush, drill 1" hole with drill bit not hole saw. Get an oversized washer weld nut to it and then weld washer to the cab. On the same lines as your welding the nut to a plate. But a 1" drill bit will stay centered on existing hole where a hole saw would be hard to keep...

    S&B 10-1023 LB7 calibration

As you know this may take awhile since I filled it up. Until I go back to work around the end of Jan and hook the camper to it I don't know if I will be able to burn a full tank:love:. Wife will hate less fuel stops but I will love it.:) I will load it up and see if the range is different...

    S&B 10-1023 LB7 calibration

I installed one of these a few weeks ago. I did use the sump on it. I didn't make any changes for my gauge as S&B claims none is needed. I put 5 gallons in it right after install, no fuel light. Drove about 50 miles before fuel light came on, something I never even knew it had because truck...

    S&B tank replacement thoughts.

Yeah 1 good thing about older trucks, parts are plentiful. As long as the tank outlasts my bladder I will be good. 200 mile fuel stops get annoying. Brad I think I read threads are 1/2" npt. We will find out for sure in a few weeks.

    S&B tank replacement thoughts.

So I have been looking into a larger fuel tank replacement for towing. I already knew of titan so I started there, but then saw mention of S&B tanks in a thread on here. I had already planned on a sump for the titan if I went that route, but S&B already has one installed so I am leaning...

    LLY Oil Cooler..Again

When I installed mine I did an oil change idled it 5 mins, shut off let sit 15 mins checked oil added as needed, then let it idle till warm shut off checked oil added as needed. The thermostat does not block all oil so it will circulate into the cooler without being open.

To update my problem. Changing out temp probe solved my issue. Don't know why it failed but that is why parts stores stay in business.

    LLY Oil Cooler..Again

^^^X2 This is the thread I went off of. https://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=40544&highlight=oil+cooling All this depends on what kind of environment you live in. My cooler might be to thick for your air temps and towing loads. If I had to do it again I might put it...
